Junior Construction Supervisor

Primary Purpose of this Position
This essential position within our organization, whose primary purpose is:
  • To plan and execute construction projects to be completed on time and on budget
  • To keep all aspects of a construction project aligned with the company’s defined processes
  • To lead and manage our subcontractors and all necessary scheduling
  • To be ultimately accountable for all aspects of construction projects management dashboards and overall timeliness of the builds
Expectations
As a construction supervisor, you will be expected to:
  • Implement/Update/Supervise the construction of in-ground swimming pools, landscapes, and outdoor living structures, from pre-construction through completion
  • Communicate with clients daily
  • Negotiate and coordinate with subcontractors
  • Manage 5+ residential projects at a time (be hands-on as needed)
  • Manage the projects operations and organization out in the field
  • Coordinate and maintain our fleet and equipment
  • Work with other managers and technicians and ensure services/builds are fulfilled in a timely manner.
  • Work with Estimator to understand each project’s budget and what subcontractors are approved for usage
  • Communicate daily with the Field Operations Manager regarding schedule, materials, equipment, and accounting 
Requirements
  • 2-year degree in Construction Management or conmesurate experience
  • 6 months - 1 year Experience in swimming pool maintenance
  • Must be Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Must be able to work outside in any weather, occasionally lift at least 50-80lbs at a time and do some minor repairs as needed.
  • Handyman work experience a plus. (ex. Plumbing, electrical, digging, landscaping, masonry work, tile installation…)
  • Skid-loader and driving with trailer experience a plus.
Schedule: Variable schedule depending on the season (heavy in the summer months, light in the winter months).
Work Location: Office is in Rockwall. Work is mostly about a 30-mile radius from the office with some exceptions.
