About Us

The Rockwall School of Music has been serving the greater Rockwall County area for over 28 years. We provide the best possible music lessons to children, teens and adults who are wanting to advance their skills in piano, guitar, drums, voice, violin, viola, cello, bass or ukulele. We are the only privately owned school of music in Rockwall County. Our 50 instructors provide private and small group music lessons for over 900 children, teens and adults weekly. In-person as well as virtual lessons now available.
RSM is a privately owned business by Rockwallians, Russ and Karen Porter. They both know first-hand the value of music as they both have their bachelor's and master's degrees in music.
Whether the interest in in piano, guitar, singing, musical theater, drums, violin, viola, cello, bass or ukulele, the Rockwall School of Music has the music professionals needed to make your dream a reality.
