We are in the midst of the largest road project Rockwall County has seen. Join us for a great update complete with visuals of what we will see as the finished project!
Tom Kula was born in North Chicago, IL. He is married to his High School Prom date Robin, both are life-long Cubs fans and they live in Rockwall, TX. Recently retired, Tom Kula continues to serve his community and church. Since January 2024, he is assisting Rockwall County as liaison to TxDOT and attending weekly update meetings with the TxDOT Project Manager for the I-30 Expansion project in Rockwall County. He provides weekly updates to Rockwall County Judge and Commissioners on upcoming parts of the project along with graphics to help keep the community informed. He is on the Steering Committee for the Rockwall County Strategic Plan 2050. He serves on the HOA Board for the Water’s Edge community. He is an active member of the American Legion Post 117. Tom serves in various ways at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Parish, on the Finance Council, as Usher Coordinator, Parish Council, Mobile Food Pantry and Knights of Columbus.
