DESCRIPTION:Hello Rockwall County Community! \n\nThe city of Fate is organizing a volunteer opportunity April 30\, 2022\, and we are requesting that you share this opportunity with your organization. \n\nThe Great American Community Cleanup\n\nOn Saturday\, April 30\, 2022\, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. the City of Fate is partnering with Keep America Beautiful's Great American Cleanup. This is the nation's largest community improvement program\, taking place annually each spring.  A community that cleans up together is a stronger community! \n\n  Volunteers are being asked to sign up to assist in cleaning predetermined locations across Fate.\n\n  Volunteers will meet in Robert Smith Family Park\, 1220 CD Boren Parkway at 9 AM and then be sent out to a designated location. Gloves and bags are provided.\n\n  At 11 AM\, volunteers will return to the park for a snack and to participate in the "most interesting item found" competition.\n\nSign up today by filling out a Volunteer Application here: www.fatetx.gov/Cleanup\n\nVolunteers may stay afterwards to participate in a Carter Blood Drive that will take place from 11 AM until 4 PM at Robert Smith Family Park.\n\nStudents that are collecting volunteer hours will receive a signed letter the same day. \n\nThank you for your help in making this event a huge success!
