We will invite visitors to our community through strategic regional marketing campaigns. Our goal is to help families from all over the metroplex experience the Spirit of Rockwall and create a new holiday tradition for their family. This event will positively impact our local economy and community while driving local hotel stays and guests in our local businesses. Our local citizens will also enjoy this special treat in our own backyard in Rockwall?s beautiful Harbor area through the holiday season. \n\nLocation: Rockwall Harbor Fountain area \n\nOperational: December 2\, 2022- January 2\, 2023\n\n \n\nHelp us launch this event and be among the first to be marketed as a supporter of this fun new community addition for the holiday season. We will have an anticipated 9k skaters + visitors during the month of December. \n\nThere will be 2 weekends of vendor opportunity as well. \n\n \n\nHours of Operation/logistics: \n\n 4-9PM Mon- Th \n 4- 10PM Friday \n Noon- 10PM Saturday & Sunday \n Anticipate 3-4 bad weather days & may be deemed according to this: \n \n Prolonged wind from the South with speeds exceeding 20 mph \n 100% Humidity/Rain/Excessive High Winds \n Temperatures exceeding 72 degrees Fahrenheit \n \n \n Closed Christmas Day & New Year?s Day at 6PM \n $15 per hour per skater \n Up to 130 skaters on rink at once \n Anticipated 9k skaters \n\n \n\nEvent Details: \n\n\n Vendor opportunity for 2 weekends: (December 10\,11 & 17\,18) \n Hot chocolate/ Cider/ Cookies/ Snack Bar \n Work with local restaurants for promotional opportunities (passbook) \n Shopping/ activity booths (10-12 with large tent for weather) \n Carolers/ mini concerts involving local youth \n Santa & Mrs. Clause photo area \n\n Hotel packages offered in 2 different price ranges to include skate voucher (& breakfast with Santa at high end). We will provide a community guide and Downtown information upon check in to these guests to encourage them to shop\, dine and experience the Spirit of Rockwall.
