SUMMARY:Rockwall County Fitness Trail Dedication Ceremony
DESCRIPTION:PRESS RELEASE for the dedication ceremony planned for the Rockwall County Fitness Trail on Saturday\, August 19th\, at 10:00 am. The Fitness Trail entrance is located at the Rockwall County Courthouse close to the County Library rear parking lot.  \n\n \n\nCommissioner Lee Gilbert will emcee with comments from County Judge David Sweet and Cindy Paris\, President of Texas Health Rockwall. \n\nFollowing the ceremony a "walkabout" will take place where participants will walk the inner loop of the 1/4 mile trail.  At the conclusion of the walkabout\, participants will receive a congratulatory ribbon\, with the dedication/date printed upon it.  Bottled water\, energy bars and an assortment of complimentary\, fun swag\, will be available.\n\n \n\nAlong the trail are four fitness centers\, each with five fitness stations. A Shade Pavilion is part of the equipment\, as are two picnic-style tables\, and benches beneath its roof. Twelve benches built by three Boy Scouts as their Eagle Project will be placed around the trail.
