Race activities include costume contests\, a children's area\, awards ceremony\, food and drinks. The Lone Star CASA Superhero 5k/Fun Run and SUPER DASH is sponsored and supported by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas\, Baylor Emergency Medical Center at Rockwall\, and The Jessica Hargis Group.  Additional information about sponsorship and on-line registration are available at www.lonestarcasa.org.  \n\nProceeds from the 5k event benefit the Lone Star CASA program in their efforts to recruit and train CASA volunteers to give a "voice" to abused and neglected children in court and the foster care system. \n\n"EVERY CHILD NEEDS A HERO BUT ABUSED CHILDREN NEED SUPERHEROES"
