SUMMARY:Child Abuse Awareness Month: Go Blue for Kids Kick-off Event
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the Annual "Go Blue for Kids" kick-off event at Standard Service in Heath.  This is a family friendly gathering to help create awareness of the impact child abuse has on our community.  Enjoy local entertainment cotton candy\, face painting\, a kid zone\, and more.  Together with elected officials we will thank all those that help take a stand against child abuse.  We will also recognize local businesses and supporters that run "Go Blue for Kids" campaigns throughout the month of April.  Learn how you might Go Blue or help support the local vendors who support children and families who receive services provided by the Children's Advocacy Center for Rockwall County.  Every child deserves to live a life free from harm.  When that does not happen we help stand in the gap to offer hope where there was darkness and healing where there was pain.  This April marks our 5 Year anniversary of serving children and families in Rockwall County.  Together we are building a healthier community!
